NEONATAL/PEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE PATIENT TRANSPORT

Monroe Ambulance continues to meet the specialized care needs of neonatal patients throughout our area. Monroe Ambulance in partnership with Golisano Children's Hospital staff a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ambulance, specially designed and equipped to manage the transport of these delicate infants. A specialized team comprised of Monroe Ambulance EMT's, along with the neonatal/pediatric transport nurses and respiratory therapists from Strong Memorial Hospital, respond to outlying hospitals to bring this specialized critical care directly to the patient. Once treated and stabilized, these patients are safely transported back to the neonatal intensive care unit at Strong.
